This shipping policy explains how RH Music LTD (doing business as “8Music”) operates its shipping procedures and how we strive to meet your expectations with every order. Whether you’re a first-time buyer or a returning customer, we want to ensure that your experience with us is smooth and satisfactory, right from placing your order to the moment it arrives at your doorstep.

Shipping and Delivery Options
Orders under £149: £5.99 flat rate for items up to 30kg.
Orders over £149: free delivery.
Larger items over 30kg — such as drum kits, digital pianos and larger amplifiers — are charged at £59.00, or delivered free on orders over £149.
Local delivery within 36km of our Rayleigh shop: £50.00, or free on orders over £500. Delivered in 3–5 working days.
Collection from our shop is free.
All prices include VAT. The delivery cost shown at checkout is the full amount you will pay — there are no additional charges.
We deliver to all UK addresses, including the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands. We do not currently ship outside the United Kingdom.
We ship with Parcelforce, DPD and InPost. The carrier is selected according to the size and value of your order, and you will receive tracking details by email once your order has been dispatched. Someone may need to be available to sign for higher-value items.
Shipping Methods
Click and Collect — free, usually ready the same day. Please wait for our confirmation email before travelling.
Standard UK Delivery — £5.99 for items up to 30kg, or free on orders over £149. Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are dispatched the same day; orders placed later, at weekends or on bank holidays are dispatched the next working day. Delivery normally takes 1–2 working days from dispatch, with the Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland and Channel Islands taking 1–2 additional working days.
Large Item Delivery — £59.00 for items over 30kg, such as drum kits, digital pianos and larger amplifiers, or free on orders over £149. These are sent on a dedicated service and may take longer. We will contact you if this applies to your order.
Local Delivery — £50.00 within 36km of our Rayleigh shop, or free on orders over £500. Delivered in 3–5 working days.
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
In-store pickups
You are welcome to collect your order from our shop at 138 Hockley Road, Rayleigh, Essex SS6 8EP, free of charge. It is often the fastest option for local customers.
Please wait for our confirmation email before coming to the store to collect your order.
Collection hours: Monday to Friday 9:30am – 5:30pm, Saturday 10:00am – 5:30pm, Sunday 11:00am – 4:00pm.
This process helps to ensure that orders are safely and accurately handed over.
