Yamaha PSR-E583 Portable Keyboard

The Yamaha PSR E583 is a touch-sensitive, 61-key portable keyboard designed for musicians and beginners seeking a versatile option for home, studio, or stage use.

Compared with the PSR E483, it offers nearly 900 voices over 800, including a wide range of world and local styles, along with 345 auto-accompaniments and a full suite of effects, giving you even more scope to explore different genres and expand your musical creativity.

It features 19 premium Super Articulation Lite voices, four more than the PSR E483, capturing nuances such as the scratch of guitar strings or the breath of wind instruments, making non-instrument sounds feel more lifelike and expressive.

Assignable Live Control Knobs and a Pitch Wheel provide full control during performances or practice, while built-in effects like chorus, phasers, and tremolo let you add rich layers to your sound.

Compared with the E483, the E583 also upgrades the built-in amplification to a 12W + 12W system, delivering more power and presence.

Enhanced Portable Performance

The PSR E583 offers a vast palette of tones, from Electric Organ and Vibraphone to Strings, all paired with 345 preset styles. Its 64-note polyphony ensures smooth, expressive performance even when using layered sounds or effects.

Creative Features for Solo Players

With Auto Chord Play, you can effortlessly solo over chord progressions while experimenting with different riffs and tones. The Looper function further expands creative possibilities by allowing you to loop chords and drum patterns, ideal for practice or composition. Quick Sampling lets you record a phrase and synchronise it perfectly with the rhythm.

Super Articulation Lite Voices

The PSR E583’s Super Articulation Lite Voices emulate real-world instruments with fine detail, enhanced further by the DSP effect button for added depth and texture. These features, combined with 64-note polyphony, create a rich, responsive, and immersive playing experience.

Complete Control for Performance

Live Control knobs and the Motion Effect function put sound adjustments at your fingertips, allowing real-time changes to phasers, tremolo, and other effects, whether performing live or practising at home.
