Features:
Newly Developed Scalloped Bracing
The latest FGX series delivers a richer sound with enhanced projection, particularly in the low to mid-range, thanks to cutting-edge acoustic analysis techniques developed by our Guitar Research team. By combining real-world testing with advanced computer-based modelling and simulation, we have identified the optimal bracing positions—eliminating the need for guesswork.
This research has led to the development of the FGX Series’ new scalloped bracing pattern—an innovative acoustic structure that preserves the durability of the top board while allowing the FGX guitar’s tone to shine.
Over 50 Years of Guitar Craftsmanship
Our FG story began in 1966 with the release of the iconic FG180 and FG150. Over the past 50 years, we have continuously refined and developed multiple generations of FG guitars, reinforcing the series’ reputation as the ideal choice for modern acoustic and electro-acoustic players.
Meticulous Craftsmanship
Every detail of the FGX800C has been carefully considered to create the best possible guitar. From its meticulously cured and dried tonewoods to its stunning hand-sprayed finish, the FGX800C is built to be a lifelong companion.
Pickup System
The System66 electro-acoustic system features a proprietary under-saddle piezo pickup, delivering a natural and dynamic sound. Controls include a 3-band EQ, an adjustable mid-range frequency control, and a precision chromatic tuner. The system is conveniently powered by standard AA batteries.
