Yamaha F400 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar - Natural Satin

The Yamaha F400 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, finished in Natural Satin, is a clean-looking Yamaha acoustic that puts tone and playability first.

Featuring a dreadnought-sized body with a spruce top, which has been matched with locally sourced tonewoods for the back, sides and neck. It projects enormously thanks to its ultra-thin polyurethane finish and smartly designed bracing that allows the top to vibrate freely without favour.

Sustain and response are pushed to the front of its voicing palette, which gives you a very voluminous Yamaha acoustic guitar.

An easy-play and comfortable 25" (634 mm) scale length and slightly narrower string spacing neck make fretting and chord work a piece of cake. Minimalist aesthetics, such as no binding or pickguard, emphasise feel and sound over extravagant looks.

For songwriting, learning, and recording, the Yamaha F400 Acoustic Guitar delivers bell-like tones in a simple, comfortable-to-play, and modern-looking instrument.

Big Sound, Minimalist Design

A spruce top matched with locally sourced back and sides delivers bell-like highs, warm mids and a pronounced bass, while the dreadnought shape offers an overall balanced range. The carefully designed bracing and ultra-thin polyurethane finish allow the wood to resonate, sustain and project, giving you a strongly voiced acoustic guitar.

The dreadnought shape suits strumming, fingerpicking and everything in between, making this Yamaha acoustic the perfect companion for singer-songwriters, students, and performers.

Comfortable and Fast Neck

For fretting and chord work, the locally sourced wood 25" (634 mm) scale length neck with rosewood fingerboard allows easy navigation right up and down. Easy playability will enable you to make perfect chord shapes and single notes effortlessly without finger fatigue.

Simple Organic Looks

Pickguard-free with no binding gives you a simple and contemporary-looking instrument that offers minimalistic lines and curves throughout. The natural satin finish on the body and neck enhances the vibes, giving you a lighter-looking and feeling instrument designed for playing. Minor nuances like the brown soundhole inlay nod to its minimalistic aesthetic.

A rosewood bridge and chrome tuners finish off its organic character, keeping everything tidy and neat in one perfect acoustic package.
