The filter department arrives with the same circuitry used in the legendary miniKORG700S from the early 1970s, delivering retro vibes and vintage soundscapes right at your fingertips.

This analogue design delivers the rich, vintage warmth and character reminiscent of classic synths. With an array of intuitive controls, it offers dedicated adjustments for VCO, VCF, LFO, and EG parameters, giving you complete creative control over your sound.

Integrated 16-Step Sequencer

One of the most important features of this Korg synth is the looping 16-step sequencer. This sequencer allows you to record phases while you play them, making it quick and simple to get your ideas down. 

The Motion Sequence mode lets you add intricate details to your loops by recording knob movements as you create. You can also introduce time-based variations, giving your loops a distinctive, evolving sound. With the Active Step feature, you can skip specific steps in the sequencer, generating unpredictable rhythms that are perfect for creative exploration.

Additionally, the Flex function enables the playback of patterns without quantisation, allowing you to craft a unique, free-flowing groove.

In-Depth Control & Delay Effect

The six-position rotary knob allows you to choose which synthesis mode you want to use. You get to choose from Poly, Unison, Octave, Fifth, Unison Ring, or Poly Ring, expanding your Volca Keys' functionality by delivering unlimited combinations for your tones, sounds and soundscapes.

The Volca Keys feature dedicated potentiometers for various parameters, such as VCO detuning, VCF cutoff, and LFO Rate and Pitch controls. Additionally, it includes a built-in, straightforward delay effect, perfect for enhancing soundscapes with atmospheric textures. This delay also replicates pitch shifts, adding versatility to your sound design.

Engineered to be Compact and Portable

The Volca Keys stands out as one of the most portable synthesizers and sequencers available, thanks to its compact and lightweight design. It can be powered by either batteries or an AC adapter (sold separately), and it even comes with a built-in speaker for immediate playback of your new creation. The speaker makes it incredibly convenient for creating and experimenting on the go, whether that's in the studio, up a hill, or on a plane.

It features a self-tuning function, ensuring the analog circuitry and oscillators maintain perfect pitch over time. The vintage-style sync in/out ports enable you to link several Volca units, which adds textures, layers and musical rainbows to your creations.
