Korg Pitchblack XS Chromatic Pedal Tuner

Keep your instrument perfectly tuned without sacrificing valuable pedalboard space. The Korg Pitchblack XS Chromatic Pedal Tuner combines a compact footprint with a generously sized, easy-to-read display, making it an ideal choice for crowded pedalboards and live setups.

With an impressive accuracy of up to 0.1 cents in Strobe mode, you can achieve exceptionally precise tuning on stage and in the studio. The Pitchblack XS also helps protect your signal quality with switchable bypass options and ULTRA BUFFER mode.

Tune at a Glance

The Pitchblack XS makes accurate tuning quick and straightforward. Its “Just-right tuning” display gives an immediate visual indication when you reach the correct pitch.

Triangular LEDs positioned on either side of the display flash when your tuning is spot on, giving you a clear confirmation without requiring you to interpret complicated information. This makes it especially useful during live performances, where fast and dependable tuning is essential.

Four Ways to Monitor Your Tuning

Choose the display style that works best for you with four selectable tuning modes: Regular, Strobe, Half Strobe, and Mirror.

Regular mode provides a familiar tuning experience, while Strobe and Half Strobe modes offer an exceptionally detailed view of pitch changes. The meter's movement and speed make even subtle tuning variations easy to detect so that you can adjust precisely with confidence.

Mirror mode takes a different visual approach. As your instrument approaches the correct pitch, LEDs on either side of the display move towards each other, providing an intuitive indication of when you're in tune.

Maintain Your Signal with ULTRA BUFFER

Your pedalboard setup can noticeably affect your guitar's signal, especially when you're running long cables or multiple pedals. The Pitchblack XS addresses this with its ULTRA BUFFER bypass mode. When engaged, the buffer helps maintain your signal quality, making it a useful option for larger pedalboards and setups involving longer instrument cables.

Prefer the direct signal path of a traditional setup? The Pitchblack XS also offers True Bypass. Switching between ULTRA BUFFER and True Bypass is simple, allowing you to choose the bypass configuration that best suits your rig.
