Korg Pitchblack-XS Bass Tuner Pedal

The Korg Pitchblack-XS Bass is a dedicated chromatic pedal tuner designed specifically for bass guitar. Combining ultra-precise tuning, excellent visibility and a compact, rugged design, it delivers reliable performance on stage, in the studio and during practice.

Its bass-specific tuning circuit can accurately detect frequencies down to C0 (16.34Hz), making it ideal for 5-string basses and players using alternative or heavily downtuned tunings.

Bass-Specific Tuning

Designed specifically for bass, the Pitchblack-XS Bass offers a tuning range down to C0 (16.34Hz)—more than an octave below the low E of a standard 4-string bass. This lets you tune low notes accurately without sacrificing speed or reliability, making it ideal for extended-range and downtuned basses.

Ultra-Precise Tuning Accuracy

With tuning accuracy of up to ±0.1 cents in Strobe Mode, the Pitchblack-XS Bass makes it easy to achieve incredibly precise tuning. This level of accuracy is ideal for professional recording and live performance, where even small tuning differences can be noticeable.

Bass-Optimised ULTRA BUFFER

Korg's ULTRA BUFFER technology is specifically optimised for bass, helping maintain a fuller, more powerful tone through your signal chain. You can also switch the tuner to true bypass, giving you the flexibility to choose the setup that best suits your rig and playing environment.

Large Display, Compact Design

Despite its compact 70 x 80mm footprint, the Pitchblack-XS Bass features a large, highly visible display. The display and footswitch are integrated into a single unit to maximise screen size while saving valuable pedalboard space. Its durable powder-coated enclosure is built to withstand the demands of regular gigging.

Easy to See on Stage

Two adjustable LED brightness levels ensure the tuning display remains clear in a variety of environments, from dark stages to bright outdoor settings. Triangular LED indicators on either side of the display flash when your instrument is in tune, providing a clear visual confirmation.

Four Tuning Display Modes

Choose from four display modes to suit your preferred tuning style: Regular, Strobe, Half Strobe and Mirror. Each mode offers a different way to visualise pitch movement, making it easy to spot even subtle tuning variations.
