The Korg MS-20 Mini synthesiser is a compact, portable, monophonic analogue synth that faithfully recreates the legendary Korg MS-20. Loved by artists such as Daft Punk, The Prodigy and countless others, this modern reissue delivers classic sound in a smaller, studio and stage-ready format.

 

Designed at 86% of the original size, it retains the iconic look and sonic character while adding modern connectivity.

 

Authentic Sound with Modern Convenience

 

The MS-20 Mini offers the same rich analogue tone as the original model, achieved through carefully reproduced internal circuitry.

 

The dual oscillators include ring modulation, envelope generators with hold and delay, and a noise-optimised VCA for cleaner performance. Thanks to its compact design, USB integration and MIDI support, it easily fits into both live and digital production setups.

 

Classic Self-Oscillating Filters

 

One of the most distinctive features of the MS-20 is its self-oscillating filters, delivering powerful resonance on both high-pass and low-pass frequencies.

 

The Mini version uses the earlier, more aggressive filter design for sharper tonal character, allowing musicians to craft everything from subtle textures to bold, cutting tones.

 

External Signal Processor (ESP)

 

The built-in External Signal Processor adds experimental flexibility. Plug in a guitar, microphone, or other sound source, and the MS-20 Mini can track pitch or volume, transforming it into a guitar synth or vocal synthesiser. This opens creative possibilities well beyond traditional synthesis.

 

Flexible Patching System
