Refined Design With Enhanced Features

The updated MicroKORG S introduces a clean, stylish design with maple wood side panels that complement its compact build. Every control and parameter is easily accessible, allowing for seamless sound shaping.

Two oscillators power the core sound engine. Oscillator 1 offers 71 waveforms, including classic analogue shapes such as Saw, Pulse, Sine, and Noise, along with creative options like Vox Wave and Cross Wave.

You also get 62 DWGS waveforms from Korg’s iconic DW-8000, enabling you to recreate vintage electric pianos, guitars, bells, and percussive tones. Oscillator 2 offers Ring and Sync modulation, providing even more complex timbres.

Vintage-Inspired Vocoder

The 8-band vocoder transforms your voice into a dynamic musical tool. It allows you to freeze formants, shift frequency ranges, and perform everything from simple notes to rich chord progressions.

The formant shifting feature allows you to radically alter the character of your voice, from male and female tones to robotic or alien-like effects. A microphone is included, so the vocoder is ready to use straight away for both live and studio work.

Built-In 2+1 Speaker System

A key addition to the Korg MicroKORG S is its integrated stereo speaker system with a built-in woofer. This carefully designed 2+1 setup delivers clarity across the spectrum, with a deep low end that exceeds expectations for its size.

Extended Memory and Preset Collection

The MicroKORG S Synth offers increased memory capacity, giving you more room to save original sounds alongside an expanded preset library.

It comes loaded with 64 fresh sound programs, ranging from atmospheric pads and electric pianos to punchy leads and basses. An additional 64 slots are reserved for user programs, letting you store your custom patches without overwriting factory presets.

Favourite Select Function

The Favourite Select feature allows you to assign up to eight go-to sounds for instant recall. This makes live performance more efficient, allowing quick access to your most important tones without needing to navigate menus.

Wide Range Of Effects

The Korg MicroKORG S features a versatile set of onboard effects, including three modulation types (chorus/flanger, phaser, and ensemble), three delays (stereo, cross, and L/R), and a two-band EQ.

Delays can be synced to the built-in arpeggiator or an external MIDI clock, making it a versatile choice for both stage and studio use. Each effect is fully editable, giving you the freedom to refine and personalise your sound.
