Each track supports up to 16 patterns, which you can link together using Pattern Chain mode, making the Groovebox ideal for building song structures, patterns, and musical sections. The built-in 128-step sequencer, divided into 8 pages of 16 steps, provides ample space to create complex musical arrangements spanning 8 full bars. Every step of your musical journey is editable, allowing for accurate timing and rhythm detail.

The Running Direction function enables you to change the playback direction of your patterns, offering ample flexibility for composing your tracks. Flip sequences right, down, clockwise, or anticlockwise to quickly explore new rhythmic variations, without having to start from scratch.

The AlphaTheta ChordCat's Chord Cruiser mode allows you to generate expressive chord progressions without having a lot of music theory knowledge. You get access to a vast database of over 110,000 chords while the Chord Cruiser makes suggestions on which one will fit your composition.
